The courses, taking into consideration the fact that education is carried out in English, are organized in such a way that the students develop a consciousness of and an interest in Turkish language, which for most of them is their mother tongue. In addition to grammatical and linguistic knowledge, poems, stories, novels and essays written by the Turkish writers who use the language the most skillfully are selected every semester. Besides, some panels and conferences are held, related to the books selected.
