Abdullah Kuran Library is the main library of the University.

Sciences and Engineering Building houses laboratories, offices of the academic staff, seminar rooms, and the departments of Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Nuclear Engineering.

In the Faculty of Education Building there are a number of classrooms in various sizes as well as the offices of the Faculty of Education staff members.

The Computer Sciences Building is located in the Educational Technologies Building, which also houses a multipurpose auditorium (Turgut Noyan), an electronics laboratory, the printing press and several related offices.

English Preparatory Unit is located in the School of Foreign Languages Building.

Other major buildings on the North Campus are four large dormitories, New Hall, a bookstore and annexed offices and classrooms of the School of Foreign Languages.

The Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics with all their laboratories are in the Park Building.
