+90 (212) 911 60 60 is the phone number to call from outside the institution.

This number is designated for coordinating our University’s Disaster and Emergency operations.

Please clearly inform the operator about the nature and location of the emergency.

If the emergency involves health issues (injury/fainting/etc.), additionally call;

112 (ambulance service)

444 12 12 (Medline ambulance service) can also be contacted.

BUILDING EVACUATION

1. In emergencies, leave the building by following the evacuation plan or emergency exit signs.

2. Stay calm; do not panic!

3. Do not use elevators; walk quickly but do not run!
   
   
4. In case of fire:
   
   

• Move by crouching or crawling on your knees if necessary.
• Cover your mouth with a cloth, preferably dampened, to use as a mask.
• Close doors behind you during evacuation but do not lock them.
• Before opening a closed door, check the back of it for heat or fire.
