Boğaziçi University always endeavors to increase its organizational capacity and to support the sports activities, and social, cultural, and intellectual campus life within the campuses. Boğaziçi University has also the purpose to create new sustainable habitats and to protect the existing ones inside the campuses, according to the sustainability principles.

Additionally, our aim is to protect sustainable living environments on our campuses and to establish new areas in accordance with sustainability principles. To serve this purpose, we focus on developing and implementing master plans that define zoning and construction policies, aiming to improve campus development and usage regulations. We pay close attention to the conservation of ecological resources; we monitor the establishment and enforcement of campus life principles that preserve natural habitats, historic architectural heritage, and movable and immovable cultural assets. Our efforts also continue in line with our goals to ensure all campuses are safe from disaster risks and accessible for individuals with disabilities.
