Management Information Systems (MIS) is an interdisciplinary field that holistically plans, designs, and manages organizations' digitalization processes through information technologies. The program brings together perspectives from management sciences, computer science, and industrial engineering, aiming to educate future leaders who can effectively manage organizational information infrastructures and align technology investments with business objectives.
The curriculum provides a strong theoretical and practical foundation in areas such as information systems analysis and design, database and software development fundamentals, network and systems infrastructure, data management and analytics, the use of artificial intelligence applications in business contexts, and information security. Within this framework, students learn to integrate skills in data-driven decision-making, digital product/process development, and business intelligence with ethical principles, data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
The program integrates theory and practice through coursework, laboratory sessions, and project-based learning. Graduates are prepared for careers in digital transformation, business analysis, data analytics, AI-enabled business solutions, information security, and information systems management, as well as for internationally recognized graduate programs./p>
