Prof. Dr. Ayşe Buğra is the winner of The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) Award for Social Sciences

Prof.Dr.Ayşe Buğra, lecturer at Boğaziçi University The Atatürk Institute for Modern Turkish History Department and Director of Social Policy Forum was awarded The World Academy of Sciences 2015 Celso Furtado Award for her contribution to research on social policy in emerging developing economies and globally, with a critical perspective on state-society-market relations in Turkey.
Research areas of Prof.Dr.Ayşe Buğra include History of Economic Thought and Economic Methodology, Comparative Social Policy, Development Economics.
