Boğaziçi University Dormitories
Men’s Dorm
Providing dormitory accommodation to out of town students is one of Bogazici University’s priorities. The University’s objective is to protect its select
student population from the difficult conditions of a city as big and complex as Istanbul, enable them to enjoy the advantages of living on campus 24 hours a
day, and thus assist them in developing a BU student identity. Today, about 45% of the undergraduate and about 10% of the graduate students in BU reside on
campus.
The University provides two types of residential facilities:
Accommodation in rooms (Men’s Dorm, Women’s Dorm, 2.Kilyos Dorm, 1. and 2.North Dorms):
The number of students accommodated in the rooms varies. Each room has internet and telephone connection, bunk beds, closets, tables, chairs, bookshelves
and a refrigerator. Bathroom and toilet facilities are shared; hot water is available in all bathrooms.
Accommodation in apartment units (Uçaksavar Dorm, 1.Kilyos Dorm, 3.and 4.North Dorm and Superdorm):
