Campus Life

Boğaziçi University always endeavors to increase its organizational capacity and to support the sports activities, and social, cultural, and intellectual campus life within the campuses. Boğaziçi University has also the purpose to create new sustainable habitats and to protect the existing ones inside the campuses, according to the sustainability principles. 

In order to serve this purpose, creating and implementing a master plan for improving the construction legislation and determination of its policies was aimed. Also, paying attention to the protection of ecological resources and following the implementation of principles which are protecting the natural life and possessing the historical buildings and cultural heritages inside the campuses aimed. Furthermore, the works maintain in accordance with the goal of making all the campuses safe in terms of disaster risks and accessibility.
