The School of Applied Disciplines, founded in 1995, offers programs leading to the degree of Bachelor of Arts in International Trade and in Tourism Administration; and to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems.
The School of Applied Disciplines aims to develop high capacity and initiative in its students for independent thinking and problem solving as well as commitment to self-development and social responsibility. The interdisciplinary programs have an international focus with the aim of educating future professionals who can function effectively in the dynamic and complex global business environment.
The curricula are designed to give students a firm background in core courses in business administration, economics, law, information technologies, quantitative analysis in addition to application-oriented specialization courses in their respective fields of study. The elective courses offered by the programs give the students the opportunity to further their basic knowledge in the areas of their individual professional interest. Compulsory internship programs familiarize the students with the industry, thereby preparing them for the complexities of business life. Undergraduate students may pursue double-major programs with one of the two other departments of the School of Applied Disciplines.
