The Department of Management, with its motto of excellence in teaching, is renown with its high quality education, highly qualified faculty and competent students. The graduates of the Department become part of a network of professionals who hold top managerial positions in the leading corporations of the business environment in Turkey and abroad or hold academic positions in outstanding universities.

The Department has four graduate programs that offer an interactive and challenging education environment which provides a strong theoretical background and furnishes the students with managerial skills. The programs offered by the department are PhD in Management, M.A. in Management, Executive MBA and MBA.

The programs are supported with distinguished faculty and hosts conferences, seminar series and highly regarded guests from the business and academic world. The Department has a research–oriented faculty and accommodates two research centers.

Undergraduate Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Undergraduate Program in Management, graduates will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate a solid understanding of concepts, theories, and principles in management and the main functional areas of business, and apply this knowledge in an integrated manner. (Disciplinary Knowledge)
  2. Analyze organizations and managerial processes from multiple perspectives by considering people, resources, structures, incentives, and the broader business environment. (Analytical Thinking)
  3. Use mathematical, statistical, and quantitative methods to formulate, analyze, and solve managerial and organizational problems. (Quantitative Skills)
  4. Use statistical methods, business analytics, management science, and data-driven approaches to evaluate complex business problems and develop evidence-based solutions. (Data-Driven Analysis)
  5. Use programming, information systems, and digital tools relevant to management for data handling, analysis, communication, and decision support. (Digital Competence)
  6. Evaluate managerial decisions in areas such as finance, marketing, operations, and strategy by taking into account organizational goals, constraints, and changing environmental conditions. (Managerial Decision Making)
  7. Communicate ideas, analyses, and recommendations clearly and professionally in written, oral, and visual forms for academic and business purposes. (Communication Skills)
