Advanced topics related to chromatin organization, role of chromatin modelling during gene expression and regulation, mRNA transport, translation mechanisms (cap -dependent/-independent), structure of ribosome and tRNA, special emphasis on transcriptional and translational checkpoints, ribosome shunting, RNA silencing and mRNA decay mechanisms.
